Originally built in 1910, The Thon Hotel Gildevangen is one of Trondheim's most distinctive historic hotels and is housed in rustic Gothic architecture. Only 300 meters from bus and train stations and just a short walk from Nidarosdomen Cathedral.

Thon Hotel Gildevangen is near Nidaros Cathedral, Trondheim Science Museum, and Archbishop's Palace. Another attraction in the area includes Trondheim Art Museum.
