On these 2 squares you will find numerous bars, restaurants and clubs and the squares are surrounded by exclusive shopping areas, museums, and galleries. The famous floating flower market and the shops of the 'Kalverstraat' are just a stone-throw away.
Every Sunday there is a market showing and selling art just in front of the hotel on the Thorbecke Square. |

The lobby is on the second floor, up a steep and narrow stair case... no elevator. My room was up three additional such flights of steep narrow stairs, which I could handle since I am young and in shape, but it was still difficult and annoying. The advertise...
