Andros Island is the largest of the Bahamian Islands, and yet the least commercially developed. This virtually untouched archipelago of sand and sea is home to an incredibly diverse collection of wildlife waiting to be discovered by travelers searching for something else—an alternative Caribbean vacation. Andros Island is divided by the North Bight in the north and the South Bight in the south, requiring travel by boat or plane between three distinct landmasses.
This traditional Caribbean-style beachfront resort, Tiamo Resort, is located on South Andros Island one mile from snorkeling at Blue Holes.

* The Lodge
The lodge is the heart of Tiamo Resort. It’s where you’ll go to enjoy a drink from our well-stocked bar and dine for each meal. The lodge also serves as our living room and library, which is stocked with favorite classics as well as informative books and maps on South Andros Island and The Bahamas.
* Dining
All meals are included in your stay at Tiamo Resort. Tiamo Resort's wonderful chefs and highly trained wait staff will serve your every need while at Tiamo Resort. You’ll start your mornings with a full spread of fresh fruits, juices, coffee, tea and home baked breads for toasting. Lunch is available at mid-day along with snacks, all served in the main lodge. Evenings at Tiamo are a guest favorite. After nightly happy hour at 6:30, dinner is served. This multi-course Caribbean culinary delight is served by candlelight on fine white linen in a group setting. By request, private dining can be easily arranged in a quiet corner of the lodge or served in your private bungalow.
* Activities
Guests can take a guided nature tour on one of many trails that surround the property with one of the staff biologists from the Nature Concierge Team and learn about the natural wonder that is South Andros Island. You'll also learn about our sustainable practices and see the inner workings of the most successful ecoresorts in the western hemisphere. Trail maps are also available for your own wander through the wilderness.
* Guests are welcome to take a kayak or sailboat for a self-guided tour to explore the beautiful waters of the South Bight. The Nature Concierge Team hosts daily guided trips to "the Crack," a unique geological formation, or to the off-shore Blue Holes and reef. It’s all included as part of your stay at Tiamo Resort. As an added activity you may want to arrange a guided trip to the mysterious West Side of the island, or an inland Blue Hole tour with a local expert in bush medicine. |

* Tiamo Resort has 11 beachfront bungalows. Decorated in simple island style, they include one king bed in 600 square feet of living space. There's a ceiling fan and a separate sitting area.
* Each private bungalow accommodates two guests with a spacious king-size bed (or two twin beds), as well as a screened wrap-around porch to allow maximum airflow and a panoramic view of the pristine natural surroundings. |

1. No penalty for cancellations up to the defined cancellation deadline of Tiamo Resort Hotel Bahamas - Out Island.
2. Cancellations made within the cancellation deadline will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
3. No-shows will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
4. No cancellations on or after check-in date.
