Excellent stay
I and my 15-year old daughter greatly enjoyed our 3 night stay in this refurbished modern hotel a 10 minute walk from the tourist center of Lisbon. As the first room we were allocated had not yet been cleaned, the friendly and helpful staff apologized profusely and immediately upgraded us to a superior (and much larger!) room. Lovely pool and garden to relax in after a hot day of sightseeing was a big plus. Free use of 2 laptops in lobby, but no free WiFi. Very good breakfast buffet. Only complaint is that the A/C in the breakfast room made it freezing cold.

I was there in september 2001 with my girlfriend.Great location! Very nice room and a very helpfull staff.A must in lisbon!

Date of stay March 25-29, 2004. Enjoyed a quiet rear room with beautiful garden view. It lacked a balcony, but I preferred a quiet room with a nice view. My room was clean, comfortable, with a decent size bath, and with enough closet and storage space. Very helpful staff, advised well on sightseeing. Housekeeping was very responsive when needed. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast, and partook of a delicious fish dinner in the hotel dining room, which features Portuguese specialties. Weather was too cool to enjoy the convenient outdoor pool shared with sister hotel Tivoli Lisboa. I liked the convenient location on the Avenida Liberdade, close to the metro stop, and near a good number of restaurants. I was able to get a promotional rate as it was off-season. Many pluses here; and I would be glad to return to the Tivoli Jardim.
