Very pleasant hotel - bright, clean, airy rooms; spacious lobby; courteous and friendly staff; attractive dining room with excellent buffet breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would be happy to go back there again.

We started and ended our ten night Spain-Portugal trip at the Tivoli Lisboa. From the moment we stopped our car in the front, they took over -unloading our luggage, delivering it to our room, and checking us in without even a credit card imprint (the room was already paid).
Breakfast was very good, especially the fresh fruit. Try the seafood restaurant a couple of blocks down the street (displaying lobsters, crabs, shrimp, etc) for a great dinner. The free high speed internet service was a real plus!

The Tivoli Lisboa Hotel exceeded my expectations, together with Lisboa in general. Nice hotel, good size room, friendly staff, great location & a superb buffet breakfast included. Avoid eating at the restaurant of the top floor. Fantastic view but a rip off.

My hubby and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in early July 2003.
The hotel is a typical old-fashion hotel. Medium room size which needs some maintenance. It takes you about 10 minutes to walk to the shopping area at Rossio. Buffet breakfast is good. If you are looking for modern type of hotel, try next door's new NH Liberdade Hotel.

Large hotel with good amenities. Rooms a fair size for a european (me) but a little samll compared to US Hotels.
Needs some room maintenance but staff helpful and friendly. Only dial up internet access in the rooms and 64kb in the office centre.
Food is good but a little expensive, but this is true of most Lisbon hotels.
Loads of different eating places around and sea food is a local speciality.

Booked this hotel over the internet for a very reasonable rate 2 days in advance of arrival. Arrived at 9.30 in the morning and could check into my room straight away. The management celebrated my birthday with complimentary champagne and cake in the room on the evening of my birthday! Nice business centre with free internet access. Great breakfast. Only hotel with pool in central Lisbon, I believe. Nice fish restaurants down the hill on the right.
