Just returned from Bologna and really enjoyed our stay at the Top Park. It was very good value for money and although we had to get a taxi back from Bologna Town Centre most evenings after 9 pm we think it was excellent value for money. Rooms are spacious although a bit 80s chic. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Restaurant was ok but not if you are a vegetarian. Bus service from the hotel is excellent during the day and buses are punctual and air conditioned. Pool at the rear of the hotel is very good. Trains do go behind the hotel but they are hardly noticeable. If you decide to go to a local restaurant in Pianora (which is very nice) the downside is that you have to get a taxi back to the hotel but as all taxis come from Bologna you are also charged for the drivers journey from Bologna to the restaurant and then charged for the journey to your hotel. Would definitely stay at the hotel again.
