We stayed there May 2004. We requested a last minute room change upon arrival with no problem. Our room was very large and comfortable, as was the bathroom (separate shower and tub areas, 2 sinks), tons of closet space. We had a room facing the noisy Via Saachi where the train station is, but the windows were quite sound proof. Good breakfast. Overall a positive experience. |

I stayed at the Turin Palace Hotel for five nights in early January 2003. The hotel was close to empty, which was a little eerie, especially as the neighborhood can be a little dodgy at night. However, my room was huge, including the bathroom, and very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and good, and the staff very pleasant. The best thing about the hotel, though, is the barman, Celestino. He was extremely nice, allowed me to practice my bad Italian with him (though his English is excellent), gave me great restaurant recommendations, and even arranged a fantastic truffle-filled lunch at a restaurant in Asti. I will very happily stay here again. |
