Cheapest rate in San Francisco! Location is great, right on Union Square, close to the famous Cable Carts, China Town, and all the major shopping streets. The hotel is not very impressive, but it gives you what you can expect for this low rate. The bed was clean, toilet and bathtub was clean. TV was working. And thats pretty much what you need!!! But there is no AC... Still we had no trouble sleeping i mid july... Ask for a room towards the backyard, so you'll save yourselfs the 24 H traffic and street noises. The hotel is safe!! Helpfull staff and 24H desk. The area around the hotel, down to Union Square is safe and filled with people and cops. The shopping area and Marked Street is also safe. But we where recommended NOT to walk south of Marked Street wich is 3-4 blocks from the hotel. I recommend this hotel, and will stay there the next time I go to SF!
