An unforgettable experience!
Hello! I wrote a review yesterday but it hasn't yet been posted. This hotel is centrally located and the bedrooms and linen are clean.
The good points end right here. There were six bathrooms (6 male/6 female) available for use on our floor - not nearly sufficient for so many bedrooms. The corridor was so narrow that it was impossible to open your door without a collision with the doors of the rooms opposite. surely a health and safety and fire hazard! Please do not stay at this hotel if you have a fear of rats as there are plenty to be seen in the lawns and paths surrounding this hotel. The bedrooms were airless and tiny. Fawlty Towers would be a Grade A Hotel by comparison.

Staying at the Vanadis Hotel
I will begin by giving some positive remarks about this 'hotel'. It is centrally located and the rooms and linen were very clean. The staff at reception were very helpful.
On the other hand, you SHOULD NOT stay at this hotel if any of the following apply to you.
1. You have a fear of encl osed spaces - rooms are tiny and more like prison cells.
2. You have children with you - no familly or interconnecting rooms are available and we were unable to book ensuite rooms - do they in fact exist here?
3. If you have a fear of rats you should definately give this premises a miss as there are plenty of them on the paths/laws adjacent to the hot. Make plenty of noise as you approach the hotel - these rodents do not fear you.
4. If you expect it to be a 'hotel' as it is NOT and with three male and three female bathrooms/showers for an entire floor it probably would even be a very low standard hostel.
A very disappointing place to stay overall.

Conveniently located for a strictly on budget travelers
I have stayed only for 2 nights at Vanadis. Nothing impressive to say about the hotel, but considering the fact that it’s just 2 star hotel for low prices, with friendly staff, very tiny but quiet room, daily cleaning, adequate breakfast, in a nice neighborhood to easy access to downtown of Stockholm, Vanadis Hotel is a fine deal. If you are on a very strict budget, looking for a conveniently located hotel just to explore Stockholm then Vanadis offers a nice deal.
