Comfortable, Affordable, Convenient
This modest hotel has charm, clean and hospitable rooms with baths, accommodating 24/7 front desk service, and a great petit dejeuner (breakfast). Located 10 min to bus station, Place Massena and great back street cafes and restaurants. |

A great value accommodation in a great location
Vendome hotel has a priviliedged location - a very easy stroll to the old town, beach, shops, station and bus stop for the airport. The interior design of the hotel is very much impressive.
The room I stayed in was very pleasant with traditional grand decoration, with a very high decorated ceiling, a king size bed, and a large balcony. The room was surprisingly quiet given the central location.
The hotel was spotless and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a varied choice. I thought that Vendome hotel was a great value for money and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Nice. |

Lovely Hotel
We have stayed in Vendome Hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is situated in a good part of the city about five blocks from the Promenade des Anglais and a 10 minute walk to the main bus station (Gare Routiere). The hotel itself is very much impressing. The front desk was always eager to help. However room was very tiny, considering 4 luggages that we had. Although. the room had a fair sized bathroom with shower/tub combination and a shower curtain. It had plenty of hot water and good water pressure.
The air conditioner did keep the room cool and it was nice to be able to get fresh air by opening the French balcony. Housekeeping did a thorough job. When we returned from sightseeing we always found fresh linens on the bed.
We would consider staying at Vendome Hotel again, its small but very lovely hotel. |

An excellent choice
It was our second time staying at Vendome Hotel. We decided to come back, because it was hard to resist an ancient charm with a modern comfort offered by Vendome Hotel. The location of the hotel is unbeatable: about 0.5 km off the beach, Close to the Acropolis congress centre, Albert 1st gardens and the cours Saleya. Our room was very spacious in a old fashion style with all modern basic requiments. The hotel staff was always cheerful and helpful at any time. The facilities and services are definitely worth the price you pay.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel Vendome in Nice, France this last May 2003 for the Monaco Grand Prix. While we were searching for hotels by telephone, we were told (sometimes rudely) that it would be impossible to find a hotel during the Monaco Grand Prix. When we called the Hotel Vendome, the staff was friendly and emailed us our reservation right away. The staff apologetically added on an extra fee for this time period but the service was outstanding. The Vendome is located in an old restored mansion with parking space for guests. The staff greeted us when we entered, helped with our bags and were helpful with regard to activities. The rooms were small but had nice bathrooms.
Since Nice is a noisy large city, we were pleased by how quiet our room was and how we could not hear other travelers in neighboring rooms. The beds were comfortable too. The hotel is about 4 blocks from the beach and is affiliated with one of the resorts on the beach. Read the material in the hotel before going out to the beach because the hotel offers discounts. This can save you a lot of money. Overall, we would stay there again. It was a great deal for the South of France. |

Hotel Vendome is a very nice, well-maintained hotel with fantastic rates, even during the peak tourist season! The hotel is located in a safe neighborhood on nice, quiet streets. In less than a 10-minute walk, one arrives at the Flower Market or the coast. The "zone de pietonne," a popular outdoor pedestrian zone, is only a 5-minute walk. Rooms are accomodating and clean, the beds were comfortble, and staff was very friendly. My husband and I were traveling with 4 others and they were very pleased with the hotel we chose. I would recommend Hotel Vendome to anyone staying in Nice! |
