This was a super hotel with very elegant rooms. The staff is friendly and very helpful! Nice cozy bar with a comfortable and relaxed feeling.
Very quiet and the breakfast was out of this world. I would give this a strong 4-star. You won't be sorry!

Stayed here for 3 nights with New Year's eve this year and it was great. The marble baths and quiet room was very nice. The staff were always friendly and helpful and the location isn't bad.
The metro station is less than 5 minutes from the hotel, and you can get up to all the major areas very easily on that line.
It is definitely a 4 star hotel. The only caution I would give is that none of the rooms are purely non-smoking, but they try to cover it with some "perfume". It turned out ok for us non-smokers, but its something to keep in mind if you have any major allergy issues.

Romantic! Thats the only word needed to describe our honey moon jr.
suit. Our stay was 6 days long and we wanted for nothing. The staff was helpfull and always smiling. The rooms look exactly like they do on all the web sites. The room service was timely and the food was excellent.
I am extremelly picky when it comes to hotel quality and I went in looking for something to critique ( I have been known to cry my way out of paying for moldy smelly rooms) I had no complaints. The tv was a bit small but as a virgin newly wed I didn't spend much time watching tv anyway! ( wink wink). Great location near shops and eateries. On the whole, we were not impressed with the city of Paris but we would recommend this hotel to friends.

I have stayed here with my french girlfriend. This hotel has class, is quiet and ideal for some romance. You can stay all day in your room without feeling being in a box.The service is excellent and discrete.
Location excellent also. Bars and cafes around the corner. Breakfast good. If you need a hotel to impress a romantic woman, this is the right choice.

Visited in July 2003, excellent hotel in a great neighborhood. Walk to St. Germain de Pres and great restaurants/bars/cafes in area. Recommend you try and reserve a room on the 6th floor facing the front of the street. Great terraces and most of the rooms are a good size. Bathrooms are amazing, all marble and the service is impeccable. You also can't beat their breakfast for price and variety. Highly recommend!

I just returned from visiting Paris for the first time. My travel agent booked the Victoria Palace for five nights and I am extremely pleased. The Hotel is wonderful, comfortable, clean, gorgeous! It made my first trip to Paris a great experience. The staff were wonderful, even when I could not speak much French. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and their coffee is the best! They exchanged dollars for Euros without charge, they helped me in everything I needed and did so most cheerfully. Living at the Victoria Palace will make you feel like royalty. The decor is truly French and upscale. Victoria Palace is ideally located, with wonderful shops in the immediate area; Luxumbourg Gardens just down the block, the Metro close by and large stores nearby also. There are good bistros in the neighborhood. I would strongly suggest The Victoria Palace to anyone visiting Paris, for the first or the 15th time. You can't go wrong in this lovely hotel.

My husband and I stayed in a jr suite at this hotel for our 25th wedding anniversary, February 1st -8th. We wanted a cozy and romantic hotel and that is exactly what we got. Our room was beautiful, with ample space, plenty of closets. and extremely clean. (and I'm super pickey about that!) Our room faced the street and had two floor to celing french doors that lead out to a very small balcony, but we never heard any street traffic or noise. The staff was friendly and breakfast was very good. Our only critisisim is that the TV in our room was on the small side and hard to see from bed. But really, when your in Paris, who cares about TV! We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and we would recommend it to any one.

We stayed 4 nights in August 02. The hotel was very quiet and very nice. The bedrooms are large, for French standards. THe location is fine with rue de Rennes within a block.
We got a very good deal: 150 euros for 3 persons including american breakfast! You can't beat that for a 4 stars hotel in Paris.

This was my first time in Paris, and I loved it! The hotel was beautiful. We stayed on the 6th floor and had two balconies on our room where we could look down the quiet street that this hotel is on to the boulevard. The room was great - clean, decorated beautifully. The service was good, and their patience in assisting us in getting around the city was appreciated. It was exactly the kind of place one would imagine when they think of Paris. Thank you Phillippe!

We had our family in the two bedroom suite. The price was excellent for Paris and we loved the hotel. The room was large and we all loved the fabric walls and the black marble bathroom. The staff was wonderful and willing to help with anything.
