Deserves a higher rating
We have just returned from a long weekend trip to Venice where we stayed at the Villa Igea and had a brilliant time. The hotel is situated about 50 metres from the San Zaccaria water bus stop through a small alley way. The staff was really helpful and friendly. Our room was nicely decorated and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was powerful and very large! Breakfast was served in a buffet style and was very nice. All in all we had a great time at Villa Igea. Definitely. The hotel is well deserves its star rating and moreover, a great value hotel in everything. |

For the price/location, the Villa Igea, is excellent value. It's only one minutes walk away from St Mark's square WHICH IS WHERE YOU WANT TO BE. It is an annex of the 4* Savoia and Jolanda Hotel, a few steps away. This is where you check in, take breakfast, etc. It's very clean, nicey decorated and at ?60 pppn we couldn't fault it. Compare that price to other prices so near to St Marks square. Lastly, if you get a chance visit Venice. It's absolutely wonderful. |
