Well worth the deal - well positioned hotel with nice service
We have chosen to book at Visconti Palace by recommendations of our friends and we were not disappointed, overall we got a very nice deal for 4 nights. The location of Visconti Palace was excellent, on the left bank of the Tiber, 10- 15 mins walk to Vatican City, moreover the location was also convenient for the sights on the right bank with the Trevi Fountain and Piazza Nouva also about within 10 mins walk. To get up to the Forum and Coliseum took about 5 min, then there is Lepanto Metro that is cheap, reliable and convenient. So we were very glad to stay in the hotel within a close proximity to the major tourist sites, we had really run exploring.
As for the hotel service and facilities it also did worth the deal, the room was clean, quiet, well decorated and equipped in the modern minimalist style of the hotel. The only problem was the paper thin walls, sometimes we had to listen to a next room talking. But the night sleep was absolutely great. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom also well equipped. Buffet breakfast served in the basement breakfast room was standard, but good quality fare and staff were friendly and efficient.
Overall, we would strongly recommend Visconti Palace for a good location, service and accommodation. For us personally, Visconti Palace did well worth the deal.
