Disappointment
Probably we should have paid more attention to the word HOSTEL than to the word INN!!! We always prefer to stay in a simple hotel, without any fringes, so we were happy to find this from the outside nice looking place. Also the pictures of the rooms made a decent impression . But, when we were given this room, with just a bed and nothing else, no chairs, no hooks even to hang clothes on, a curtain that was hardly big enough to cover the window, no airco while the temperatures where up to 100 F, this was really a great disappointment. The next day we asked for another room, and indeed we were given a better one, with a chest of drawers, a mirror and a small fridge (which delivered us a bottle of frozen water, but never mind), and something that was supposed to be an airco, but in fact was just a blower.
A shared bathroom in itself is not a problem, but one that is not cleaned every day, and where the trash bin doesn't have a lid and is permanently filled with all kinds of sanitary stuff is too much. The personel is pleasant, that is no problem, but I think
YOU'D BETTER WARN PEOPLE so that they 'll know what they can expect. Or put this hostel in the category of hostels, so that it will not pop up when you're looking for a cheap hotel .
