Although it has been since SEPTEMBER 11th we will never forget the wonderful time during a period of great difficulty for our country. The hotel was super, the accomodations fabulous, and we were treated like royalty. I would definately go back. Thanks to the staff for helping us in a very troubilng time! The "Lido" was all we expected!!!!

Enjoyed our stay here - location is fabulous for those that want to be able to escape from the swarms of tourists in the city at the end of the day. Note that it is a 20 minute boat ride from Venice. Hotel faces Venice on one side and the beach and adriatic sea on the other. Rooms were very large for Europe and well maintained (westin heavenly bed and shower are a plus!). Decor was a little dated - the hotel is famous as it was the original resort on the Lido. Done in an arabian theme. We loved touring old Venice all day and retreating to our quiet beach hotel at night. Take the public ferry from Lido in and out of town - its faster and more fun!
