Not so hot

Well appointed lodge 13 miles from Yosemite Village but one we found to be unwelcoming and unfriendly. The restaurant was unable cope with the number of guests. After waiting for over an hour for an evening meal, we were not treated nicely by our waiter and chose to leave - the first time we have ever done this.

excellent hotel

My partner and I stayed at the Yosemite View Lodge for 3 nights in early June. We had a room on the third floor overlooking the Mercer River. The room exceeded our expectations with 2 very comfy queen size beds, flat screen TV, a massive spa bath with shower heads at both ends, in which 2 people could fit in comfortably!!! Restaurants on site were excellent with lovely food and friendly staff. Will recommend staying here to all our friends.
