Zecchini Hotel is a great little 2* hotel in an excellent location to see all the sights of Venice. Just over the bridge from the bus station and next to the railway station so easy access from the airport on a busy little street typical of Venice. Nothing fan...
we arrived only to be told the previous guests trashed the toilets, so we were transferred to Hotel Basilea. That was fine. Hotel staff was helpful, but not overly friendly. Lobby smelled a bit weird. Would still like to try a stay here.
